MEMORIAL SERVICE of SWAMI SARVATMANANDAJI
(The previous Monk-in-Charge of the Ramakrishna Vedanta Vereniging, Swami Sarvatmanandaji, passed away in India on 12 October 2015.
On 25th October, a memorial service was held at the Vedanta Vereniging, Amstelveen, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. )
Mr Kees Boukema, Mrs Debjani Pal, Douwe, Mrs Mary Saaleman, Elizabeth Post, Mr Biswa Bhattacharya
and Mrs Tandra Das reminisced about Swami Sarvatmananda. Mrs Tandra Das and Mrs Prajna Bhattacharya rendered soul-stirring songs.

DURGA PUJA OCTOBER 2015
We celebrated Durga Puja, worshipping the Divine Mother on Saptami (Tuesday, 21 October) and Ashtami (Wednesday, 22 October).
We had worship in the morning with chants and singing. Mr Kabir Roy Choudhury read from the Chandi on both days. We had chanting, singing and arati on both evenings.
On Sunday, 25 October 2015, we had a Durga Chant session, in which we chanted Mahishasura Mardini Stotram.

A lot of money was spent to renovate the ground floor and the terrace of the Centre. Thanks to all those who helped us. Our humble prayers to Sri Ramakrishna to shower His blessings on them.
